Flap Professor Dr. Emajuddin Ahamed is one of the most distinguished scholars and researchers of South Asia. His in dept analyses of social issue and his objective views on political problems have taken him to an enviable position of great distinction among the scholars in Bangladesh. A Professor of political science, once the Pro-vice chancellor and vice Chancellor of Dhaka University and now the Vice Chancellor of the University of Development Alternative. Dr. Ahamed has had a long research experience of more than 35 years. During the period he wrote as many as 32 books (26 in Bangla, 8 in English, 4 monographs in English) edited 9 books 5 in English and 4 in Bangla.
